The past weekend, I found myself in SF again. My brother still lives there, and Mom had a work trip. Naturally, we turned it into a full family affair. Savannah, Georgia

Two of my first friends in New York are from Savannah, GA. While I grew up in the South, I'd never been to this incredible foodie, beach town until last week. I'm pumped to finally cross it off my list of destinations and anxiously await my next visit. 

For our first two summers in the city, we did the typical firework watching along the river. Don't get me wrong, the New York City fireworks are some of the best in the world, but it definitely was nice to escape the rush and do something a bit different for the long weekend.
