Photo Session #14: Hawaiian Vacation Recap

I haven't done a "Photo Session" post in over a month. I got a new lens that I'm trying to master (in addition to all the other things I want to master), and a few other things have happened. I'll tell you about those another time. Nevertheless, I'm so excited that #14 (my favorite number!) covers my recent vacation to Hawaii. None of us had ever been, and we'd been counting it down for almost two years.

Photo Session #13: Taylor Travels

Learning photography is certainly about the basics first, which I'm still navigating, but it's also about communication, documentation, and delivering on what's communicated in said documents. It's also about being flexible—especially in a city like New York where there are people, trash cans, etc. at every turn.

Photo Session #12: Central Park, etc.

Anyway, I was in Central Park last Saturday afternoon. I was waiting to shoot a few photos for a friend (more on that below), so I just start walking and snapping what I saw. The above family came around the corner, and I thought, "Would it be weird to capture them in this moment?" (I thought it probably was, so I waited until they passed me.)
