As you may have noticed, I did a little spring cleaning on the site. It's almost been a year of officially blogging under the #drewinthecity name, which is still mind-boggling to me. With the stories already shared and those now in the works, I realized that a more dedicated approach to this project meant that I needed to devote more time to its infrastructure and design.

I'm back in the city and fully recharged thanks to many cups of coffee and hours of sleep (well, maybe not tons of hours). I thoroughly enjoyed my time at home in the South, but I'm not more ready than ever to tackle the remaining weeks of summer. I'm hoping to spend as much time outside in the park to make up for all the lost time when had this past winter when it was beyond frigid. Hopefully, these hangouts and other adventures in and around the city to prove to deepen current relationships and bring up new ones.

This week started with a bang. On Monday morning, I woke up early and headed over to Koreatown where Daybreaker was kicking off a weeklong stint of yoga and dance. It was quite the experience, jamming out on a rooftop with complete strangers before heading to off to work.
