Little did a know that I would meet so many wonderful friends over the next few months. So this year, I wasn't along with strangers; I was with folks that had been a part of the #drewinthecity journey as it grew and developed. It's a wonderful feeling when something comes around again, and you're able to reflect on the things felt when you experienced it before and compare them to the feelings felt the second time around. While July 4th isn't the anniversary of my moving to the city, it sure is a great way to celebrate it in style.

Anyway, I'm thrilled to be living here, and I look forward to all that's in store. In the spirit of celebration, I finally announced this project in a more substantial way this week. cityscape {no. four}

I'm back in the city and fully recharged thanks to many cups of coffee and hours of sleep (well, maybe not tons of hours). I thoroughly enjoyed my time at home in the South, but I'm not more ready than ever to tackle the remaining weeks of summer. I'm hoping to spend as much time outside in the park to make up for all the lost time when had this past winter when it was beyond frigid. Hopefully, these hangouts and other adventures in and around the city to prove to deepen current relationships and bring up new ones.
