Dog Days of Summer

We're in the home stretch of summer, which is something I never thought I'd be happy to say. But, it's been so stinkin' hot the past few weeks. I'm in desperate need of fall in the city.

Over the next few weeks, we'll have our final summer parties and last beach trips. Folks will start settling back into the flow after many weekend trips out to the Hamptons. The Olympics will be over, and we'll be anxiously awaiting a victory by Serena at the U.S. Open over Labor Day (fingers crossed).

And through all of this, I want to be as comfortably dressed as possible. So far, this has meant short-sleeved everything.

Luckily, I was able to find a few key pieces early in the season before the heat set in. They've carried me through, and I know they won't let me down. (I think they can, I think they can.)

Here are some photos captured by my friend Brian. A few weekends ago, I acted as a stand-in model for a campaign he helped shoot for RAWROW USA.
